That’s why dum dums go to Iceland: The Strokkur Geyser..now candyfloss pink..courtesy of artist Marco Evaristti

You know how we’re drawn to colour at ibbi…but really..a pink candyfloss geyser? This is just too much! We felt we had to share this: our utterly  ‘ibbiotic’ snippet of the week. Danish based Chilean artist Marco Evaristti has understandably found himself in hot water with local Icelandic authorities recently after pouring red fruit based food colouring in to the Strokkur Geyser, situated 70 miles North East of Reykjavik, causing it to erupt spectacularly in plumes of bright pink. This is the fifth time the artist has dyed natural waters. He apparently loves nature and is drawn to decorate it. Sadly for him, the irate local authorities appear not to share his enthusiasm..
