Chysocolla Double Cufflink

Our new cufflinks for men are made in Afghanistan.  They make unique presents for 21st's, weddings and birthdays. 

Known to locals as Bamiyan Turquoise, this mineral (scientific name: Chrysocolla) is mined just a stone’s throw away from the famous Buddhas of Bamiyan which were destroyed by the Taliban in 2001. Bamiyan sits in a stunning lush green valley surrounded by snow capped peaks.

This piece was produced by master artisans in Afghanistan.  For those who remain, their craft is critical to sustain their livelihoods at a time when the country is in financial collapse and in the grip of a humanitarian disaster.
