Ethnic rug measuring 168x152cm made of sheep wool woven high in the Andes. The colours of the borders are in different shades, highlighting the orange and red colours, with details in ecru and light blue.

This rug is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a stick and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone has been used to braid the wool when making the drawings. As it is such a manual work, it may present small irregularities and “perfect imperfections”.

The looms are made of 100% sheep wool dyed with natural pigments. Its colour may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.

We recommend dry cleaning the rug.
