Frazada - AD42

Cusco blanket measuring 193x145cm made of sheep wool woven high in the Andes. It has borders in natural and cheerful tones, highlighting the pink tones with a touch of purple that make it very special.

This Cusco blanket is hand-woven in the South American Altiplano. It has been woven on a wooden loom that is tied at one end to a stick and at the other to the weaver’s waist. An alpaca bone has been used to braid the wool when making the drawings. As it is such a manual work, it may present small irregularities and “perfect” imperfections.

Ethnic looms are made of 100% sheep wool dyed with natural pigments. Its color may vary and it is sensitive to direct light.
