We’re excited to unveil our new laundry baskets from the incredible Basket Room, available in two sizes: small and large. These baskets are the perfect blend of beauty, practicality, and sustainability, making them ideal for your bedrooms, bathrooms, or dressing rooms.

Whether you need a compact basket for small spaces or a larger one for more laundry, we have you covered.

The baskets feature a soft, neutral colour that complements any room, blending seamlessly with various  styles - from minimalist to cozy and traditional.

These baskets are handwoven from robust veta vera grass, an indigenous material sustainably sourced from Ghana. The grass is known for its strength, ensuring that these baskets are not just beautiful but also durable and long-lasting.

Each basket takes up to four days to weave by hand. The intricate production process involves harvesting, splitting, hand-rolling, and dyeing the grass before skilled artisans from The Basket Room's partner weaving cooperative in Ghana begin their work.

The weavers, many of whom are farmers, face challenges such as drought, which makes it difficult to rely on farming year-round. Basket weaving provides a vital second income, helping them support their families through the fair and dignified principles of their cooperative.
